Last updated: 27 July 2026

Who we are

CompanyOS Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17364266, operating companyos.uk. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Privacy enquiries: hello@companyos.uk.

Information we may collect

We collect only what we need: details you send us in an enquiry, correspondence you send by email, and limited technical information generated when you visit the website.

Contact-form data

Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, company or project name, project type, project description, expected timeframe, budget range and your consent to be contacted. We use it solely to respond to and assess your enquiry.

Email communications

When you email hello@companyos.uk or support@companyos.uk we hold that correspondence, and any details you include, so we can answer and keep a record of the discussion.

Technical website data

Our hosting provider processes standard server information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps to deliver the site securely and diagnose faults. We do not use this to build marketing profiles.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our cookie page for the categories in use and how to change your choices.

How we use information

To reply to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support projects and products, meet legal and accounting obligations, and keep our systems secure.

Legal bases

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and operate the site securely; consent where you give it, such as submitting the enquiry form; contract where we are delivering agreed work; and legal obligation where records must be retained.

Retention

Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as required for legal, tax and contractual purposes, then deleted.

Service providers

We use a small number of reputable providers for website hosting, email and, where relevant, form delivery and error monitoring. They process data on our instructions under written terms and may not use it for their own purposes.

International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, with appropriate safeguards in place.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls on a least-privilege basis, hardened hosting and careful handling of credentials and sensitive fields. No online service can be entirely risk-free, so we also limit what we collect and keep.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@companyos.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
